Why did you choose Santa Clara?
I chose Santa Clara because a lot of my family went here and I wanted a school that was far enough from home, but not too far. It was also a school I was able to play baseball at and I love the field/facilities we have here.
What draws you to baseball? What is special about the college game?
I have played baseball my whole life and love it because of the many failures that come along with it. I have never played a sport as tough as baseball and there is always something you can get better at. It is appealing to me because I have found that much of what I have learned in baseball can also be applied to how you live life. The college game is special to me because of the high level of competitiveness and attention to detail that comes with it. I never knew about the many details of the game until I began playing college ball.
Who is your favorite guy on the team to compete with? To compete against? Why?
My favorite guy to compete with would be Zach Looney. The guy has a motor that never stops running and you know what you are going to get from him every time.

What would you do with a billion dollars?
First take all my roommates out to dinner on me then travel to as many places I could and spend it all in about a week.
What do you want to be doing in 10 years?
Teaching in a foreign country, working in a garden on the weekends.
What does your ideal day look like?
Waking up making a mondo breakfast, go get a lift in with some buddies, go to the field play some catch, enjoy the afternoon under the sun, cook a bomb.com dinner, make some tea and throw in a great flick,
What’s the #1 item on your Bucket List?
Spend time in every country in the world. (Maybe not North Korea or a few others, but ya most of them)
