I chose Santa Clara for the all the opportunities here. It presents me with a great education on a beautiful campus. I loved the opportunity to play right away for the baseball team and I respected the coaching staff a lot.What draws you to baseball? What makes it appealing to you? What is special about the college game?
I love how baseball is a team sport with such an individual impact. I love going one on one with someone with the mentality of my best vs his best.
Who is your favorite guy on the team to compete with? To compete against? Why?
Zach Looney for both because I know no one else will work harder to win, which is the teammate I want to play with and the challenge I want to play against.
Top 5 people, living or dead, to compete against? In what?
Muhammad Ali. Babe Ruth. Michael Jordan. Tiger woods. Russell Wilson. I’d want to play these guys in anything because they are so driven to win I’d be so inspired watching them compete.

What would you do with a billion dollars?
Giant mansion with big pool, own baseball field to coach little league on, go on a fight into outer space and donate a lot to good charities.
What do you want to be doing in 10 years?
Playing baseball in the MLB and raising a family.
What does your ideal day look like?
Sleep in, have a big breakfast, play a game of baseball, dinner with friends, finally star gazing at night.
